THE STORY OF THE FOUNDATION
2023 90th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH (1933) AND 60th ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH (1963) OF PIERO MANZONI
The numerous events staged in 2023 got underway with the international conference devoted to Merda d’artista held at the University of Verona in March and curated by Luca Bochicchio and Rosalia Pasqualino di Marineo. Numerous experts were invited to investigate various aspects, artistic and otherwise, of the iconic can, which for the occasion was also the object of physical-chemical analyses by the Department of Physics of the University of Milan. During the course of 2024 the conference papers were due to be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
