THE STORY OF THE FOUNDATION

2024 EXHIBITIONS WITH PIERO MANZONI

In March, the group exhibition Masterful Attention Seekers opened at the MoCa Museum in Busan, South Korea, where an entire room was dedicated to Piero Manzoni. At Prada’s Venice venue, several cans of Artist’s Shit are part of Christoph Büchel’s remarkable and unusual project Monte di Pietà, an exhibition open throughout the Venice Biennale.
No less than 25 works were then displayed in a group exhibition at Villa d’Este in Tivoli, dedicated to artists who share the common thread of brief careers cut short by premature deaths. At the same venue, a new exhibition followed:
La Via Lattea. Declinazioni del bianco nel XX secolo (The Milky Way. Variations of White in the 20th Century), featuring 5 Achromes.
Works by Manzoni were also present in Paris in two group exhibitions: one at the Pinault Collection at the Bourse de Commerce, dedicated to Arte Povera, and another at the Musée d’Art Moderne, whose theme was the atomic age. The year closed with an exhibition at MADRE in Naples, where works from the museum’s collection entered into dialogue with important Neapolitan private collections.
