2025 MARIA CALDERARA FASHION COLLECTION

Maria Calderara’s collections #TOUCH and #U_TOUCH2 (spring-summer 2025 and autumn-winter 2025-26 respectively) were born out of the visual echoes and suggestions inspired by the designer’s interaction with the artist’s poetics. The result was an intriguing union of fashion and art: references to Piero’s works were clearly visible and masterfully integrated into the textures of Maria Calderara’s garments. The spring-summer collection was presented with a solo exhibition at the Maria Calderara space in Via Lazzaretto, in collaboration with the Fondazione Piero Manzoni.
For the autumn-winter collection, a performance was organised instead: a model moved through the showroom interacting with elements that were part of Manzoni’s everyday life and poetics, including the screening on a monitor of 4 historical videos featuring Piero Manzoni.
