2025 PIERO MANZONI AT MAGAZZINO ITALIAN ART

Magazzino Italian Art, a museum founded by Nancy Olnick and Giorgio Spanu in Cold Spring (New York), opened the exhibition Piero Manzoni: Total Space in September, presenting two immersive environments — installations that give physical form to visionary ideas conceived by the artist in 1961. These two rooms, designed by architect Stephanie Goto, were built in 2019 on the occasion of the exhibition Piero Manzoni: Materials of His Time at Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles and New York venues. At Magazzino, the arrival of these environments was accompanied by a contextual selection of works by Manzoni on loan from American collections and documents from the Guido Andrea Pautasso Collection.
