2025 DOUBLE SOLO SHOW IN MILAN

The Piero Manzoni Foundation collaborated in the realization of the solo exhibition Bernardo Strozzi - Piero Manzoni. Presence Absence at BKV Fine Art gallery in Milan. Here took place the singular encounter between two very distant eras: the 17th-century Genoese painting with Bernardo Strozzi and the most radical and “disruptive” post-war Italian art of Manzoni. Strozzi’s sacred scenes, portraits and still lifes were brought into relationship with more than 18 Achromes by Manzoni. The exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue with critical texts by Flaminio Gualdoni, Gaspare Luigi Marcone and Gabriele Reina.
