THE STORY OF THE FOUNDATION
2025 SOLO EXHIBITION AT HAUSER & WIRTH BASEL
The exhibition Piero Manzoni. ‘L’invincibile Jean’ and Early Works 1956–1957, curated by Rosalia Pasqualino di Marineo in close collaboration with Hauser & Wirth, brought together for the first time a selection of works from the artist’s early years of activity (1956-1957). It therefore represented a rare opportunity to explore this formative phase, unveiling unexpected founding traits of Manzoni’s work.
The exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue produced by the Piero Manzoni Foundation in collaboration with Silvana Editoriale and Hauser & Wirth, edited by Rosalia Pasqualino di Marineo, with the coordination of Karin Seinsoth and a critical essay by Choghakate Kazarian.
