1963 DEATH

Manzoni was present at the exhibition Mostra monocroma, at the Galleria Il Fiore, Florence on the 16th of January, and on the 25 of the same month he held a solo show at the Galerie Smith in Brussels, presenting for the first time the Achromes with bread rolls attached to the support.

On the 6th of February, Piero Manzoni died of a heart attack in his studio in Via Fiori Chiari 16, Milan.
